In winter I get terribly lazy when it comes to working out. I’d much rather be lounging around drinking hot tea than be at the gym, but I’ve found a super hyped up playlist helps my levels of motivation.
Here are some songs I listen to to get me psyched:
Goldfish is one of my all time favourite South African groups! I’ve seen them performing live countless times and I love that they literally play their own instruments and then mix it into their songs. Now this may sound bizarre if you don’t know who Goldfish is, but they’re a house music duo. Have a listen to the song linked above. Both guys play saxophone.
What I don’t understand about Eric Prydz and David Guetta music videos are the girls in them. Always super hot, super in shape bartenders or aerobics instructors. I’ve never come across bar tenders or aerobics instructors, male or female, that good looking. At least this music video is a live performance.
This song really reminds me of summer, which always makes me happy.
Gospel house music. I’m sure it’s not something you wanna hear when you’re out partying with your friends drinking up a storm, but luckily I don’t drink. 😉
Bizarre for a work out, but it slows me down a bit, because by this time I’m still wondering why I’m at the gym and not at home taking a hot bath instead.
Ah I love South African musicians. This DJ took something a South African politician said in parliament and changed it and a piece of the speech into a song. Hilarious.
Can anybody tell me what a disco sun is?
I also don’t understand Flo Rida music videos. How come he’s always surrounded by half naked women? And by the way, how are his music videos not banned from television?
Another local group I love. I saw them live at OppiKoppi in 2011, and they rocked!
What is a play list without miss Minaj?
Here’s the South African music video. If you share it, Sunlight will donate R10 to their chosen charity. Do it!
